Roxana Tompea

Investment Director

Roxana Tompea has over 10 years of extensive experience related to different industries within the energy sector, such as electricity production, oil and gas, electricity distribution & supply. Starting november 2022 Roxana Tompea is acting as Investment Director of SNN and since august 2024 she was appointed the President of the Board of Directors of Ropower Nuclear S.A. - the project company responsible for the construction of the NuScale Small Modular Reactors


As an Investment Director, Mrs. Tompea is in charge of coordinating specific activities related to the implementation of major strategic projects, such as Cernavodă Unit 1 Refurbishment Project, Units 3 and 4 Project, and the NuScale Small Modular Reactors Project, but also in charge of the development of new investment initiatives such as the production of medical isotopes project at the Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant Plant, an essential project in supporting the healthcare industry and fighting cancer.


Roxana Tompea graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies – Business Administration, was certified as a Project Manager Professional (PMP) by the Project management Institute (PMI), holds a Master in Energy Sector and completed an executive professional course at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Paul Murphy

Expert in the development and financing of nuclear power programs

Paul Murphy has occupied key consulting positions for international organizations such as the International Atomic Energy Agency and the OECD’s Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA), as well as in US government organizations dedicated to nuclear energy, such as the Small Modular Reactors Working Group within the US Department of Commerce and Civilian Nuclear Trade Advisory Committee.


Paul Murphy is a graduate of the prestigious Princeton and Harvard (Law School) Universities in the US and has extensive experience in the development and financing of numerous nuclear projects, including SMRs, around the world, in consulting positions. He is a member of the IAEA Technical Cooperation Program and teaches as an associate professor at Texas A&M, MIT, and Virginia Tech.

Adina Calfa

Senior Executive

Adina Calfa has over 22 years of experience in business management, legal strategy, and corporate governance. She currently serves on the Boards of Directors of RoPower Nuclear and Nova SP 110, a green energy producer, where she contributes her strategic insight and governance expertise.


In her executive capacity, Adina is part of the top management team at E-INFRA Group, where she holds a cross-functional leadership role in addition to serving as Group General Counsel. Her legal acumen and strategic foresight have positioned her as one of Romania’s most influential legal professionals. Adina’s contributions to the legal field have been consistently recognized by The Legal500 GC Powerlist for Central and Eastern Europe and Romania, where she has been featured annually since 2017. She is a founding member of the GC Forum, Romania’s Association of General Counsels, and actively supports the advancement of women in leadership through her involvement with Professional Women’s Network Romania (PWN Global) and Women on Boards.


A passionate mentor, Adina is committed to nurturing the next generation of legal professionals in Romania. She holds a Law degree and an LLM in Business Law, and has completed executive education programs in Corporate Governance and International Boards at INSEAD and Stanford University. She has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2005.
